I was almost scared to get this device after reading the other reviews, but I'm glad I did get. It wasn't that hard and assembly instructions were easy enough to follow. Once together, the action of the car was much better than expected. you're not going to build muscles with resistance, but you'll get a good aerobic workout. I also have another rowing machine and this machine works trust circles around it: the seat is more comfortable, better seat slides, resistance is smoother. I am 5 ' 11 '' and I get a perfect shot with the machine. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who needs to keep the cost of a rower in a budget range.
